Meet the teamOur philosophy
Accessible to everyone
We are on the corner of Melrose and Harper, and our team is led by co-owner Keitaro Kori, who brought his expertise from Japan to LA and now to FÜMA. The room is calm and unpretentious, and the service level is not.
The owners here are all working people who understand the value of a hard earned dollar. A luxurious hair care experience in an upscale setting should be accessible, so our menu is straightforward: the price for each stylist level is published on it.

Our products
What we put on your hair
Davines
We like their vision and their goals. Sustainable haircare and beauty products are the way to go, and Davines leaves out the ingredients we would rather avoid: no parabens, formaldehyde, petrochemicals, synthetic dyes or silicones. Taking care of your hair without being harsh to yourself or the environment makes everyone happy.
Neuma
We are a Neuma salon, because healthy hair is beautiful hair. Neuma products contain zero synthetic fragrance, sulfates, parabens, dioxin, phthalates, glutens, neurotoxins, aluminum compounds, glycols, formaldehyde donors, ureas or carcinogens. We share their view that professional performance, health and sustainability need not be mutually exclusive.
For color we use Schwarzkopf, a house with more than a century of research behind it.
